The FLASH test takes 3 minutes with the vehicle stationary — perfect for day-to-day stock certification. It's accurate to within ±3% of the PREMIUM test.
The PREMIUM test analyses the battery over a full discharge cycle (100% to 10%) through normal driving over up to 7 days. It provides the most detailed assessment available, including full State of Health, real-world range, and cell-level analysis. Use it for high-value vehicles or when a buyer wants maximum assurance.
No. The AVILOO Box is plug-and-play. Connect it to the vehicle's OBD-2 port, start the test via the app or dashboard, and the results come back automatically. We provide full instructions and our support team is available by email and phone if you need help.

The certificate includes: State of Health percentage, cell-level analysis, estimated real-world range, benchmarking against comparable vehicles, and a QR code that links to the verified digital version. It's issued directly by AVILOO with TÜV-certified methodology — it can't be edited or tampered with.
A basic SoH reading from the vehicle's own battery management system relies on manufacturer algorithms that can be significantly inaccurate — sometimes reading too high, sometimes too low. AVILOO performs an independent, TÜV-certified analysis that checks the battery down to individual cell level for defects and anomalies. It's the difference between checking your own homework and having an independent examiner verify it.
Every certificate has a QR code that links directly to the original digital version on AVILOO's servers. The buyer can scan it and compare the data — it's tamper-proof and independently verifiable.
For the most accurate results, the vehicle should be charged to at least 80% state of charge. For vehicles with LFP battery chemistry (common in some Tesla models and Chinese-brand EVs like BYD), aim for 95%. Your AVILOO dashboard guides you through this before each test.
Volume-based pricing — the more you test, the less you pay. Tests range from £35 per test (Standard, 1–9 tests) down to £28 per test (Gold, 100–249 tests).
AVILOO Box rental is £29.99/month (£359.88/year) — included at Enterprise tier (250+ tests). Buy test bundles upfront, top up when you need more. All pricing is ex-VAT at 20%.

If multiple tests are run on the same vehicle within two hours, you're only charged once. You'll receive a single invoice for that VIN regardless of how many tests were triggered.
Sign up online, and we'll ship the AVILOO Box to your dealership. Most dealers are testing within days of signing up. There's no complex installation or IT integration needed — it's genuinely plug-and-play.
Yes. You get access to an online dashboard where you can view, download, and manage all your tests, vehicle data, and certificates. If you need to integrate with your existing DMS or sales platform, an API connection is available on request.
Yes. There's no monthly contract — you buy a bundle and use it at your own pace. If you don't use all your tests, the balance carries forward. When you need more, just buy your next bundle.
When your test balance runs low, it's automatically recharged at your tier rate via Stripe. You can manage auto top-up from your dashboard — update your payment method, adjust the quantity, or switch it off at any time.
Yes. If your volumes are different from what you expected, get in touch and we'll adjust your tier. You're not locked in to a tier that no longer fits your business.
The dashboard is entirely web-based — no app or software to install. Log in from any browser to run tests, view certificates, manage billing, and track your test history.
Yes — the certificate can be integrated into vehicle listings, sales platforms, or internal systems via API. This means battery health data appears directly in the listing, giving buyers transparency and giving you higher conversion rates.

Battery Health Check Limited is VAT-registered in Ireland. For Irish customers, VAT is charged directly on invoices. For UK customers, VAT is handled under the reverse charge mechanism — your accountant will be familiar with this arrangement.
Let us know as soon as possible. If the fault isn't yours (normal wear and tear excepted), we'll replace it at no charge. If the Box is lost, stolen, or damaged through misuse, a replacement fee applies — full details are in your service agreement.
